PHYTO-COLLAGEN collagen It is a protein that, together with Elastin, constitutes the fibrous component of the dermis. It is produced by fibroblasts and is responsible for the cohesion of tissues and their mechanical resistance. Its function is fundamental because it constitutes the scaffolding and the support structure of the skin. Its degradation determines the appearance of atony and wilting. MANDELIC ACID is an alpha-hydroxy acid contained in almonds. It performs a delicate chemical exfoliating action, breaking the weak bonds that bind the corneocytes and eliminates damaged cells by stimulating their natural turnover. It increases the activity of fibroblasts and the production of collagen and elastin for a totally regenerated, more flexible, smooth and luminous skin.
